Massage: I am a graduate of Cortiva Institute of Boston where I completed 750 hours of massage therapy training. Most recently, I worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist in Boston for 5 years at Green Street Massage and FeitheOg until May 2016 when I moved to Rochester. In December 2016, I finished 350+ additional hours of massage therapy at the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage; and passed my NYS Massage Therapy Board Exam in March 2017. I'm now officially licensed in the State of New York.
Yoga: I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Boston Yoga School in the spring of 2015 after 12 years of practice. Under the direction and guidance of Ame Wren, Brenna Matthews and the faculty of inspirational and masterful yoga teachers, I learned the art of sequencing, body awareness, structural alignment, and spiritual concepts of yoga.
The combined now: Upon my return to Rochester, I've been teaching at Tru Yoga as well as private and group classes at Rochester businesses and homes. Previously, I taught in Boston for more than a year at JP Centre Yoga, Commonwealth Sports Club, the Cambridge YMCA, as well as several corporations and private yoga sessions. Currently, I host my own therapeutic massage office in Brighton; I am currently taking new clients.
"Liz has everything one would want from a massage therapist -- talent, experience, humor, and a gracious presence. She has helped my sense of well-being immensely and I can't imagine a more rewarding experience from massage." -- Dan D. of Newton, MA "Liz is a gifted and intuitive massage therapist. Sessions with her leave me not only more relaxed physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I feel like I come back into my body and am more centered, present, and ready to re-enter the world. Liz has worked on everything from my jaw to my back to my hips and each session is therapeutic. I have been able to avoid doctor and chiropractic visits through regular work with Liz. I always look forward to my next appointment!" - Rebecca D. of Boston, MA
