Post her massage degree, Liz completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Boston Yoga School in the spring of 2015 after 12 years of (on and off) yoga practice. Under the direction and guidance of Ame Wren, Brenna Matthews and the faculty of inspirational and masterful yoga teachers. In June 2019, Liz completed an additional 300 hour training at the Boston Yoga School with Ame Wren and Daniel Max, receiving a total of 500 hours of teacher training.
Liz provides thoughtful hands-on assists in her yoga classes and private yoga sessions as a way to deepen a pose and bring more awareness to oneself. Her intention for every class she teaches is to help students connect with their breath and all that is within.
Practicing both forms of bodywork (yoga + massage), Liz utilizes both practices in the massage treatment and yoga class room. Liz offers: - Breath, movement and body connection to help towards healing. - Attainable movement (yoga) homework to all massage clients . - Hands on assists in yoga classes. - Energetic work within the bodywork sessions and yoga class room.
Lastly, and most importantly, keeping with the theme of a yoga practice, Liz is a seeker of growth and a forever student -- believing that she is always learning from her students & clients, her teachers near and far, and most importantly from herself.
